
The Consortium for the Advancement of Marine Arctic Science (CAMAS), established in 2023, aims to facilitate international collaboration and advance our understanding of key marine Arctic processes driving rapid environmental changes. CAMAS focuses on these critical themes:
Drivers and impacts of ocean heat and freshwater transport into and out of the Arctic
Ocean-ice-atmosphere interactions in a warming Arctic
Biophysical impacts of Arctic marine biogeochemistry
The second CAMAS Workshop and Early-Career School will take place April 15–18, 2025, at the Center for Urban Horticulture in Seattle, Washington. For more details, visit our website.
Early-Career Researchers: Apply for Travel Funding! We encourage non-local early-career scientists to apply for travel support to participate. Applications for travel funding are due February 7, 2025.
